Terms & Conditions

Basis of Sale:

Our jewellery is handmade and the description of jewellery on our website is for illustrative purposes only and there may be small descrepancies in the size and colour of items supplied.

In the case of custom made pieces and pieces made to your special requirements, it is your responsibility to ensure that any information or specifications you provide are accurate. If changes are required to those originally supplied by you after the piece has been made charges will be incurred.

We do not keep your personal information after the transaction is completed.

Price and Payment:

The price of the jewellery and any additional delivery or other charges is that set out on the website at the date of the order or such other price as we may agree in writing.

Prices and charges include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the order.

You must pay by submitting your credit or debit card details with your order and we can take payment immediately or otherwise before delivery of the jewellery.

Delivery:

We use Royal Mail to deliver our jewellery.

We will complete and deliver all orders as quickly as possible.

If the item is in stock it will be sent as soon as possible upon receipt of the order.

If the item is being custom made or is out of stock and needs making for the order our delivery time will take longer. All items in Sterling Silver over the weight of 7.78 grams and all gold items over the weight of 1 gram will require hallmarking. If an item is being custom made and requires hallmarking our delivery time is subject to the time scales of the London Assay Office at that time. The Assay Office has varying turn around times depending on the time of year and how busy they are, i.e. it usually takes longer in December than January for pieces to be hallmarked and returned due to their volume of work.

Hallmarking:

Both Kathryn Snookes and Alistair Wolfe are silver and goldsmiths with their individual Makers Marks registered at The London Assay Office at Goldsmiths Hall. All pieces reaching the legally required weight are subject to hallmarking. Hallmarking jewellery is an essential and expensive requirement. A single piece requiring a hallmark is  expensive subsequently items are sent in batches as opposed to individually in order to keep costs commercially viable. If you order a custom piece it may have to wait for a package to be ready to be included in for hallmarking, this may delay your order but we will endeavour to keep you informed of any change to delivery estimates.
